Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and mentor the content team, which may include freelancers or external agencies.
- Develop and execute content marketing strategies to drive engagement, leads, and brand awareness.
- Measure the effectiveness of content (where we can, such as social media, newsletters, campaigns) and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize communication strategies and improve content performance.
- Oversee the creation of compelling and high-quality content for different platforms, including blogs, social media, website, newsletters and other marketing materials.
- Shape and refine the brand messaging to effectively communicate key value propositions and differentiate the brand in the market.
- Ensure that messaging aligns with the brand's positioning and resonates with the target audience.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- Manage press releases, media interviews, and other media-related activities to enhance brand visibility.
- Allocate resources and assign tasks to team members, ensuring the efficient completion of content projects within deadlines.
- Act as the point of contact between the content team and other departments.
- Manage the budget of the team
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in content marketing and team management, with proven measurable outcomes.
- Experience in Product Marketing, including developing content that supports product launches and positioning.
- Ability to create content that supports lead generation and increases qualification rates (e.g., lead to MQL).
- Experience conducting customer research and applying insights to improve product positioning.
- Proven ability to consistently deliver high-quality content, including blogs, surveys, and websites.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and experience in leading website refresh projects.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to align team goals with business objectives.
- Proficiency in content creation, analytics, and collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of tech or data-driven industries, with the ability to quickly learn and showcase products.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting KPIs and business targets.
- Strategic thinker who leverages data insights to drive performance improvements.
